About Joey Cocozza

Joey Cocozza was raised with his family’s belief that few things in life are more important than owning real estate. It’s a message that he took to heart. When he looks back on his childhood, he can say with confidence that he’s been in real estate his entire life. Who else can say that they were managing changeovers for their parents’ and uncles’ rental properties at the tender age of 12?

Joey grew up in South New Jersey, just a stone’s throw from Philadelphia, and he retains much of that East Coast sensibility. He attended Hofstra University in New York City where he handily obtained his Bachelor’s of Arts. After 6 years in the City That Never Sleeps, Joey jumped coasts to sunny Los Angeles. By 2009, he’d acquired his first property and had barely moved in before he set his sights on his second. A lifetime of prioritizing property had made him a natural when it came to property acquisition. But Joey soon found that he got a similar thrill from helping his friends with their own home purchases and property investments. Yet, it wasn’t until 2022 that Joey decided to use his gift in earnest, acquiring his real estate license. Within his first 6 months as an agent, he’d already racked up an astounding 23 transactions in the San Fernando Valley.

But to Joey, real estate is so much more than a series of transactions. It’s an opportunity to chase dreams. Through purchasing a physical asset, you’re given the gateway to grow in a new location, connect with a new community, and create a new life for your family and yourself. Joey never tires of utilizing his skill to help clients reach these milestones in their lives.

After making real estate dreams come true across the Greater Los Angeles area, Joey loves to unwind by chasing his 2-year-old daughter around the house before cooking sumptuous Italian meals for his wife. He enjoys brisk hikes, always bringing along his maltipoo rescue pup. On sunny weekdays, he’s frequently up for a round of golf with a client or a friend as his schedule allows. And he always looks forward to weekends with the family in Laguna or at their second property in Big Bear Lake.
